Favorites or Idiots?
The 10 Returning "Favorites" were announced in January. I was disappointed to see many of the names. I'm not a fan to begin with of returning players, but this season's crop seems to be people who are not favorites but whiners and coasters and boneheads. Here's my assessment in order of their first appearance on Survivor. Survivor: 16 Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites" Erik Reichenbach -- Erik best known for giving away the Immunity Idol, in order to be voted out by the 4 remaining women. Although he coasted at times, he won 3 straight Individual Immunity Necklaces and potentially could have won more had he not made the boneheaded move. Clearly he would have needed to win all of the remaining Immunity Challenges to have a chance. Erik is probably the best choice from the Fan side of Micronesia to come back.
