In Monica Culpepper's first appearance in One World, she was the 5th one voted out and the first after a tribe switch where she ended up being the strongest person on a really weak tribe.  On her 2nd appearance in Blood vs. Water she made it to the end, and even garnered a vote from the Jury.    In Blood vs. Water, she brought along her husband Brad an ex-NFL Quarterback, who became a lightning rod, not necessarily from his own tribe, but from the returnees tribe.  Truth was he was trying to manipulate things from the beginning, and eventually paid for it when his tribe after losing four immunity challenges in a row, voted him out in a blindside vote.  He never saw it coming.   He stayed at Redemption Island for two duels losing the 2nd to Laura M and John.

Brad has a very strong personality.  I think he got a bit of an unfair edit, but it went along with how things eventually played out.  On Game Changers, he has the potential to align with J.T. and Ozzy, but I would be surprised if any of the women trust him, although there's a potential to team up with Sarah.  I would not expect him to get along with Tai, Zeke, or Cirie, and he's not Andrea's type although he could potentially bully her like Rob and Phillip did in her two previous outings.  I suppose that Debbie and Sierra could be wild cards for him, but I would expect Brad to be gone in one of the first three votes by his tribe.

Survivor 44--Final Seven

Although I am enjoying the cast of Survivor 44, I can't say I'm enjoying the season.  In the opening episode, a blunt force head trauma at 8:20 into the episode eliminating one promising character on Tika--Bruce and a rock climbing injury at 41:30, that had a lingering effect on Matthew on Ratu led to the first immunity challenge requiring the ridiculous strength of  six people being played with five and eventually four on Ratu as Brandon who had performed the Sweat challenge with Matthew who had to sit out the challenge because of his arm. Ratu unsurprisingly lost the challenge, and Soka at full strength won, which led to the first of four straight women being voted off, prior to the merge.  Matthew and Bruce were the only men to leave before going to the combined beach.   The abundance of advantages/losses, idols and fake advantages were overdone this season, and the tribe "swap" was too fixed. Episode 4 "Dirty Deed" Preview

One postscript from last week's episode.  The end result was not  unlike the rock draw in other seasons and someone deserving to stay, like Jessica last season was lost from the game.    As painful as it was to watch Malcolm leave, it's part of the game.  If J.T. hadn't done what he did, then perhaps it would have been Sierra that left the game. Tonight, Debbie appears to go berserk and get crazy with Brad and Tai, which usually means she stays.  After the twists of the first three weeks, who knows what this week's twist will be and how it will affect the game.
