Episode 10 "It's Not a High Without a Low" Preview

Only three episodes left, which means either 7 players go into the final 2 hour episode or a couple extra people go in the next couple of weeks. There's no hint of an injury this week, and no double vote planned.   This week, it appears alliances will switch up, but who will have the numbers, will any idols be played and will Sarah play her advantage.   Sierra confides in Sarah about her legacy advantage.  Will Sarah get it if Sierra leaves in the next 3 votes?

Andrea, Aubry and Cirie appear to be an alliance, but have no advantages.

Brad, Tai and Troyzan could team up with the three idols and do some damage, but they don't really know it.

Michaela and Sarah are likely to team up in commiseration on the loss of Zeke and could swing either of the above sides with 9 left.

And that leaves Sierra.  Where will she fit in and who will she help?  My guess is her tendency is to stay with Brad, but could switch to show allegiance to Sarah.

There is a scene in the Preview with Sierra, Tai, Troyzan and Michaela high fiving in the water, but is that an alliance.

Oh, yeah!  It's the loved ones visit!


It's also time to start looking at the potential winners.   High on the list is Cirie, who is doing  a fantastic job behind the scenes and avoiding getting her hands messy.  Andrea has a chance, even though she really doesn't make moves, they kind of just come to her, and Sarah, who flipped but held strong with her alliance in taking out Zeke, despite her allegiance to him.

9. Aubry (4)--My hunch is an idol play takes out someone unexpected. Aubry's at the top of the list.
8. Sierra(8)--Sierra's kind of in the middle, and things could change quickly for her.
7. Andrea (8)--Andrea could be another blindside, with or without a played idol.
6. Cirie (6)--Cirie and Brad seem to be getting winner-like edits, but both won't make it to the end.  I think it happens later, but Cirie will go.
5. Brad (7) --Brad has been gut punched two weeks in a row with Debbie, then Zeke going home.   Would be sweet to see him in the Knockout punch, but I don't think it will happen this week.
4. Michaela (5)--Somebody's goat, probably Cirie or Andrea, stays under the radar this week.
3. Sarah (3) --Sarah has played strong the past two weeks.  I'm rooting for her to win, which means she goes soon. 
2. Troyzan(2)--Troyzan has an idol.  He and Tai need to make a big move this week.
1. Tai (1)--Tai has two Idols.  He plays one this week.

Survivor 44--Final Seven

Although I am enjoying the cast of Survivor 44, I can't say I'm enjoying the season.  In the opening episode, a blunt force head trauma at 8:20 into the episode eliminating one promising character on Tika--Bruce and a rock climbing injury at 41:30, that had a lingering effect on Matthew on Ratu led to the first immunity challenge requiring the ridiculous strength of  six people being played with five and eventually four on Ratu as Brandon who had performed the Sweat challenge with Matthew who had to sit out the challenge because of his arm. Ratu unsurprisingly lost the challenge, and Soka at full strength won, which led to the first of four straight women being voted off, prior to the merge.  Matthew and Bruce were the only men to leave before going to the combined beach.   The abundance of advantages/losses, idols and fake advantages were overdone this season, and the tribe "swap" was too fixed. Episode 4 "Dirty Deed" Preview

One postscript from last week's episode.  The end result was not  unlike the rock draw in other seasons and someone deserving to stay, like Jessica last season was lost from the game.    As painful as it was to watch Malcolm leave, it's part of the game.  If J.T. hadn't done what he did, then perhaps it would have been Sierra that left the game. Tonight, Debbie appears to go berserk and get crazy with Brad and Tai, which usually means she stays.  After the twists of the first three weeks, who knows what this week's twist will be and how it will affect the game.
