Episode 9 "Reinventing How the Game Is Played" Review
Leave it to Survivor to promote their take on the game, by using a puzzle answer as the title (even though Zeke, prompted by Jeff of course, actually says it reading the answer, and then in a toast at the reward) The result was semi-interesting, And it wasn't a big point in the edit, but the Women are currently in charge.
MAKU MAKU Night 26
Brad laments the fact that he is on the wrong side of the numbers. Sarah admits she flipped and offers to talk to anyone. Sierra asks why they chose Debbie, and Zeke tells them she seemed like she was the one in charge. Sarah believes the jury will reward her for the "Game Changing" move if she makes it to the end. Zeke, Michaela, Andrea and Cirie talk and say that it's advantageous to stay together for a few more votes. Cirie says you need to watch everything though.
REWARD Challenge Day 27
Reward challenge is two teams of five, pulling numbers from three racks attached to poles. Three members will each pull 10 numbers in order and then solve the puzzle with the 30 letters. Reward is an overnight stay at a luxury resort.
Blue team is Andra, Sarah, Zeke, Brad and Aubry, Orange Team is Cirie, Sierra, Michaela, Tai and Troyzan.
Nobody has a clear advantage pulling the numbers, although Jeff's commentary tries to make it dramatic. The first word is 11 letters long and both teams spend 50 minutes trying to figuring out the word is "REINVENTING" which Andrea comes up wiith it first. Orange tries to copy but Blue wins. "REINVENTING HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED" is the answer.
REWARD Day 27
The five partake in the food. Zeke and Brad talk football and bond which the others notice. Andrea still hurts from the betrayal.
MAKU MAKU Day 28
The losers of the reward are hungry and tired. Sierra is trying to find a way into the majority. Tai and Troyzan (holders of the Idol) talk about whether names have come up. The winners return. Aubry worries about Brad and Zeke Alliance. Cirie and Andrea talk about ousting Zeke, while they still would have numbers (5-4) after. Sarah tells Cirie about her advantage of stealing a vote which gives them an additional vote with numbers later as she is not ready to get rid of Zeke. They talk about the plan being Sierra.
MAKU MAKU Day 29
Zeke is nervous because of the eerie calm around camp, but is happy because he can play his game. Sarah talks to Zeke at the well about the next three being Sierra, Andrea, and Tai, and talk about bringing in Brad and Troyzan, talking about a final five that includes Michaela. Zeke trusts Sarah, but not Andrea and Aubry. Zeke talks to Troyzan and Brad about final five. Brad feels like he is in again. Zeke tells them he won't loop them in on the next vote but they are safe this vote.
IMMUNITY Challenge Day 29
The challenge is a domino with obstacles in the moving across the platform. Andrea rather easily sets it up but has to adjust her blocks and wins on first try. Zeke almost had it as well.

Andrea fresh off the immunity challenge is brimming with confidence and wants to take Zeke out, before he has time to attack them. She talks to Cirie who worries about Officer Sarah not wanting to go that way. Sierra comes over and they talk to her about voting where they want her to go. They then talk to Sarah about Zeke. Sarah worries about Andrea's power but realizes she can't scramble for Zeke. She agrees but wants the five to stay beyond this vote. They talk to Michaela and Aubry. Michaela is reluctant but both of them agree with the plan.
TRIBAL COUNCIL Day 29
After initial talk about the last vote and Sarah lets Debbie know she is the one who flip. Sierra compares the game to Russian Roulette and whether there is a bullet for her. They talk a lot about the 6 vs. 4 and whether the advantage is big enough, as it can still be flipped.
The vote goes 5 for Zeke, 3 for Tai, and 2 for Sierra. Zeke become the fourth member of the Jury. Sierra is surprised and Michaela cries as he leaves even though she voted for him. Jeff mentions something about numbers and trust. Debbie on the Jury calls them idiots after Hali calls them Game Changers.
