Game Changers Episode 2 "Survivor Jackpot" Preview


So after two boots, the tribes are going to "drop their buffs".   Since green is a new color for this season and was very prominent in the "Next Time on..." clip, they are obviously going to three tribes of six castaways.

We also learned from the clip that the six members of the Nuku tribe are, Jeff, Malcolm, Sandra, and Aubry from old Mana with  J.T. from old Nuku.  Nuku also gets a goat (literally).

So the other two tribes will consist of Caleb, Hali and Troyzan, with Andrea, Cirie, Brad, Debbie, Ozzy, Sarah, Sierra, Tai and Zeke.

Tai will be separated from his chickens at least temporarily.

Unless the remaining three Mana end up on the same tribe making a 3-3 split, then Nuku will have have a 4-2 and 5-1 Advantage on the other two tribes.
So only six will be at risk to be booted, and much of it depends on the tribe split, but here is an attempt at a rundown.

Number in parenthesis is my rank at time of boot or last week's ranking.

18. Tai (17)--Tai could be a target because of his love of animals.
17.  J.T. (11) --Odd man out on new Nuku, will Queen Sandra keep him?
16. Hali (6)-- Very worried about Hali in the tribe switch, swap could be deadly for her as she will be down in numbers to Nuku,  may have to scramble.
15. Caleb (10)--Tony's boot may help his chances as he goes to a new tribe, but likely down on numbers.  Possibly a great reboot for him.  If he reunites with Tai though, could spell trouble.
14. Troyzan(4)--If he survives the switch down on numbers, he could go far, but if they stay strong he will too.
13. Michaela (12) I just feel Michaela is going to lose it if she has to go to the green tribe and build again, as in last season.
12. Sandra (18)--Sandra is going to go too far at some point, but J.T. will try to keep her for cover.
11. Cirie (15)--Maybe gets a reprieve from Ozzy, but if they end up together, watch out.
10. Aubry (8)--For some reason many have it in for Aubry, needs to be a game changer soon.
9. Brad (19) --Still see the other Brad coming out.  Will his tribe be strong though.
8. Jeff (16)--Jeff's ouster will be sudden, don't think it's this week though.
7. Debbie (13)--Debbie can be annoying to others, but has the instincts to stay another week.
6. Andrea (9)--I'll keep her here for now, but could make a bad turn at any moment.
5. Ozzy (7)--Ozzy is fairly safe during this tribe switch but watch out for next one.
4. Sierra(5)--Has Legacy Advantage but has to survive 5 more boots before she can use it.
3. Sarah (3) -- Sarah could be the one to lose on the switch, but my gut says she stays on this week.
2. Malcolm--Needs to step up more but stay under the radar.  How he does that who knows.
1. Zeke--Zeke is likeable and I want him to stay for a while.  Should be on the positive side of the numbers in the switch.

Who finds an Idol?

 My top 3 to find the green tribes idol (based on manly fingers holding the clue)

2. Caleb
3. Zeke

J.T. is also heavily searching for a clue, but I don't think he finds it in camp.

Survivor 44--Final Seven

Although I am enjoying the cast of Survivor 44, I can't say I'm enjoying the season.  In the opening episode, a blunt force head trauma at 8:20 into the episode eliminating one promising character on Tika--Bruce and a rock climbing injury at 41:30, that had a lingering effect on Matthew on Ratu led to the first immunity challenge requiring the ridiculous strength of  six people being played with five and eventually four on Ratu as Brandon who had performed the Sweat challenge with Matthew who had to sit out the challenge because of his arm. Ratu unsurprisingly lost the challenge, and Soka at full strength won, which led to the first of four straight women being voted off, prior to the merge.  Matthew and Bruce were the only men to leave before going to the combined beach.   The abundance of advantages/losses, idols and fake advantages were overdone this season, and the tribe "swap" was too fixed. Episode 4 "Dirty Deed" Preview

One postscript from last week's episode.  The end result was not  unlike the rock draw in other seasons and someone deserving to stay, like Jessica last season was lost from the game.    As painful as it was to watch Malcolm leave, it's part of the game.  If J.T. hadn't done what he did, then perhaps it would have been Sierra that left the game. Tonight, Debbie appears to go berserk and get crazy with Brad and Tai, which usually means she stays.  After the twists of the first three weeks, who knows what this week's twist will be and how it will affect the game.
