Episode 5 "Vote Early Vote Often" Preview

J.T. becomes the first former Nuku member to be voted off after four original Mana.   With a 9-6 advantage how does the tribe split to 7 and 7 play out?  Or is there another twist coming?   Also, Tavua still has 6 to 2nd Mana 5 to 2nd Nuku 4.  Does that play into it at all?

And who is the mysterious stranger.

This preview doesn't show how any of the split goes, so not knowing who stays with whom, here goes:

 15. Sandra (13)--Sandra is definitely in charge. When do they turn on her or is it already too late.
14. Michaela (10)  Michaela won't keep her mouth shut, and will likely be targeted by those who don't know her.
13. Debbie (6)--Debbie's eccentricities will cost her, especially if she ends up with Brad again.
12. Brad (11) --Even if he's not really being a dictator, perception will kill him.  Old Brad is in the edit now, and I don't think it will be long.
11. Hali (16)-- Hali is still at risk, but I think there are targets above her and she may be able to align to stay longer--Debbie has it in for her.
10. Cirie (12)--Cirie has not done much so far, which concerns me.
9. Andrea (14)--It's always most difficult to judge those who have yet to be at Tribal.  Where do they end up?
8. Troyzan(9)--Troyzan likely stays, he knows the numbers.  But will Sarah play him or play with him.  There's got to be a reason for that scene in Episode 4.
7. Aubry (8)--Aubry is at the bottom of Nuku but will get a reprieve with the switch.
6. Jeff (7)--Jeff's fate could change at any moment, but he's on Sandra's apron strings, and has no chance of winning the game.
5. Ozzy (5)--Ozzy is Ozzy and should make the merge.
4. Tai (4)--Will Tai find the idol before he leaves camp?
3. Sierra(3)--Surprise Target in the 3rd episode, could come out of nowhere to lose.  Has not discussed passing on the Legacy at all, so may stay.
2. Sarah (2) --Starting to play the game, could backfire.
1. Zeke--(1)  Zeke likely will not win the game, but he is so under the radar at this point, I don't see him going yet.

Survivor 44--Final Seven

Although I am enjoying the cast of Survivor 44, I can't say I'm enjoying the season.  In the opening episode, a blunt force head trauma at 8:20 into the episode eliminating one promising character on Tika--Bruce and a rock climbing injury at 41:30, that had a lingering effect on Matthew on Ratu led to the first immunity challenge requiring the ridiculous strength of  six people being played with five and eventually four on Ratu as Brandon who had performed the Sweat challenge with Matthew who had to sit out the challenge because of his arm. Ratu unsurprisingly lost the challenge, and Soka at full strength won, which led to the first of four straight women being voted off, prior to the merge.  Matthew and Bruce were the only men to leave before going to the combined beach.   The abundance of advantages/losses, idols and fake advantages were overdone this season, and the tribe "swap" was too fixed. Episode 4 "Dirty Deed" Preview

One postscript from last week's episode.  The end result was not  unlike the rock draw in other seasons and someone deserving to stay, like Jessica last season was lost from the game.    As painful as it was to watch Malcolm leave, it's part of the game.  If J.T. hadn't done what he did, then perhaps it would have been Sierra that left the game. Tonight, Debbie appears to go berserk and get crazy with Brad and Tai, which usually means she stays.  After the twists of the first three weeks, who knows what this week's twist will be and how it will affect the game.
